Site Access and Entrances

The NHS health-care complex will be recognizable from the corner of Fourth Avenue and First Street Louth. Simple, intuitive signage will direct visitors onto the site, and once on the site, there will be clear paths of travel for patients, visitors and staff.

Access to transit and vehicle parking can make a tremendous difference to the patient experience for physically challenged patients and visitors.

The three major entrances (Main entrance, Walker Family Cancer Centre and Emergency Department) are clearly visible and distinguishable from the main vehicular entry into the site, and each of these entrances has a dedicated private vehicle drop-off at the door where patients and visitors can be sheltered quickly in inclement weather.
